Characteristics of houses \/ dwellings<\/strong><br \/>In Greece, the following are usually examined:<\/p>\n<p>Type of dwelling: main residence, secondary\/holiday home, vacant dwelling.<\/p>\n<p>Type of housing unit: apartment, detached house, semi-detached house, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Dwelling surface area: square meters.<\/p>\n<p>Number of rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Year of construction \/ age of the building.<\/p>\n<p>Building materials and condition of the building, where recorded in census data.<\/p>\n<p>Basic amenities and infrastructure: water supply, sewerage, bathroom, heating, electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Tenure status: owner-occupied, rented, rent-free accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>Occupancy density: how many people live in relation to the size of the dwelling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Characteristics of households<\/strong><br \/>For households in Greece, the following are mainly examined:<\/p>\n<p>Household size: how many people live together in the same dwelling.<\/p>\n<p>Household composition: one-person household, couple without children, couple with children, single-parent household, large household, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Relationship among members: nuclear family, related or unrelated members.<\/p>\n<p>Age composition of household members.<\/p>\n<p>Economic situation or social characteristics of the head of the household.<\/p>\n<p>Housing conditions: overcrowding, adequacy of space, housing cost burden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
